A little biography

I grew up spending most of my life in the industrial steel town of Granite City, IL, a few miles northeast of St. Louis, MO. Though Granite City, in fact, has been nominated one of the 50 Absolutely Worst Places to Live in America in a recent book by David Gilmartin, I would say I enjoyed living there thoroughly.

As an undergraduate at Indiana University I transcended the “palpable coat of failure [that] seems spread across [Granite City] and its people,” graduating with departmental honors and a degree in game design through the Individualized Major Program and also in English, with a minor in information technology.

Currently I am completing a masters of science degree in the Immersive Mediated Environments program at Indiana University, prospectively graduating in May 2008.
